Jessy's Pizza is the largest locally owned pizza franchise operating in Nova Scotia. The success of the Lower Sackville location (opened in 1992) inspired a second location to follow in Dartmouth and in the following years, several more franchise locations opened. Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, restaurant management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and guest satisfaction while managing staff and operational procedures efficiently.
Main Job Duties
• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
• Lead and motivate a team of staff members, including interviewing and training new employees
• Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Oversee food industry standards, including food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation practices
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Implement effective team management strategies to foster a positive work environment
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service flow
• Maintain operational records, including sales reports and labor schedules
